Are you into classical music?

Just curious. Do you listen to classical music or play a classical instrument? I've been playing the cello since age seven or eight (don't remember exactly) and I listened to classical music almost exclusively for most of my life, until about six or seven years ago. So Alizée's music is quite a contrast to what I used to listen to (and I still listen to classical music a lot today)...

Having a background in ballet, I grew up with classical music. I love it.

I'm a big fan too.

I usually don't have a big opinion regarding performances, but the Prelude to Bach's Cello Suite #1 is one where I feel that a lot of interpretations do this thing (e.g. Casals, Maisky, to some extent Yo-Yo Ma) where they accent the first note of each group by making it longer. I really prefer the interpretations that do not, e.g. Rostropovich:

Not the biggest classical fan (more into jazz), however I do like some of the classical-rock hybrid groups of the 60's & 70's (such as Univers Zero) and I also enjoy some John Cage & Bela Bartok.

I like Bach and that is all. I can't stand romantic stuff specially...it's interesting for 2 minutes, but the pieces go on and on and never really change.
